Caleb's one-minute video is nothing more than a crudely rendered fight between two kids who are throwing sand into each other's eyes and ears. The background music sounds like something you might hear in the average 80s horror film, not to mention that the visuals are predictably ugly. Nevertheless, it has gone viral on YouTube with over 3 million views. A couple things about this phenomenon are less than ideal: first of all, there is no lesson or moral to be learned from the video aside from "be careful when you play with someone else." Secondly, there are some potentially dark implications for children viewing this violence. Thirdly, Caleb's father is encouraging his son's violent behavior by posting the video on YouTube. Comedian Jimmy Kimmel has joked that "the kid should have uploaded this to Facebook ... it'd be safe by now."5 hours after uploading, the video has been removed from YouTube due to a copyright claim from Richard Firth. Richard later claimed that he was simply trying to protect his children and their privacy as the nature of the video made them identifiable.
